Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Christmas Staff
Applicants must also be able to work at least 35 hours per week to include some availability over weekends. You must be 18 or over to apply. You must be eligible to work in the UK and be willing to work in an outdoor winter environment. These positions will begin from mid November until early January.
We are looking for exceptional bar staff to work at one of London’s best-loved winter attractions. You’ll need at least six months experience of working in a bar and be looking for a new challenge over Christmas. We’re looking for people with excellent customer service skills and who know how to deliver that little bit extra to ensure our visitors have a great visit to Winter Wonderland. You’ll have the ability to work under pressure in a busy and fast-paced outdoor environment.
Bar Ice is cold – the average temperature is -8°C. We are after those looking for an experience working in a unique environment. With Bar Ice sessions lasting 20 minutes, you’ll be happy and confident meeting a whole new bunch of customers very regularly. You will need at least 6 months bar experience together with the ability to thrive in an unusually cold environment!
Bar Supervisors (must have Personal Licence)
Are you an experienced bar supervisor with a Personal Licence? You will need to have experience of motivating and supervising a small team of staff. You’ll support staff to deliver excellent customer service, devise a weekly rota, carry out stock checks and stock the bar when required. We work to ensure every visitor to Winter Wonderland has a great experience and you’ll play an important part in making that happen.
For this role it is essential that you have a Personal Licence for bar work.
Visitors to Winter Wonderland buy tickets to visit our attractions and tokens to go on any of the rides. The Box Office team is a very important one – as well as delivering exceptional customer service, you’re often the public face of Winter Wonderland ready to answer questions and queries that visitors have. We’ll deliver training on our simple token and ticketing system and you’ll be confident handling cash and card payments. We’re looking for confident, smiley, approachable staff who can make all of our visitors feel welcome.
Magical Ice Kingdom
The Magical Ice Kingdom is one of our premier attractions. Our ice sculpture walkthrough experience is kept at a constant -8°C and we are really excited that this year’s theme is Enchanted Forest. We are after staff to work collecting tickets and greeting guests, marshalling points and managing the flow of visitors through the attraction. Don’t worry – we swap staff positions frequently so you won’t be in the cold for your entire shift! We are looking for friendly and welcoming customer services staff who go out of their way to ensure visitors have a great visit.
We operate the largest outdoor ice rink in the UK and we are looking for brilliant customer services staff to ensure those skating with us have a great time. You might be scanning tickets, managing the cloakroom or handing out skates – all of these roles are customer facing and you’ll go a long way to making sure our guests have fun on the ice. We’ll need you to be smiling, happy, confident and willing to help our visitors.
Do you have ice skating skills? We are looking for a small team of Ice Marshalls to be on the ice rink making sure our skating visitors are safe and to offer a helping hand where required. Please note this role will require a skate test.
Have you experience working in a retail environment? If so, we’d like to hear from you. We are looking for enthusiastic team members to join our small retail team at Winter Wonderland. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, be numerate and confident using EPOS systems and handling cash.
