School Art Competition

GET CREATIVE IN OUR SCHOOL ART COMPETITION

Enter the artwork of the budding artists at your school to win a trip to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland!

The Theme?

Welcome to the world of the Magical Ice Kingdom, our walk-through ice attraction at Winter Wonderland. This year, our adventurer will be travelling through a Mythical, Mystical Fantasy World, journeying through the Four Realms of Earth, Fire, Air and Water with many different creatures of all shapes and sizes. We are calling on all young artists to design a woodland creature that you can imagine to see along your travels.

DESIGN YOUR OWN WOODLAND CREATURE….!

HOW DO I ENTER?

To enter, follow these four easy steps...

DOWNLOAD THE CANVAS

Download and print the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Art Competition Canvas and Consent Form. Students can either take the canvas home to create their artwork, or teachers can include it in an art lesson.

School Art Competition Canvas

GET CREATIVE

Students can design their artwork in either pencil, paint or ink but must use a portrait orientation on the A4 Art Competition Canvas. Make sure each student’s name, age and school is written clearly in the designated space. This step is very important for us to contact any winning schools!

COMPLETE THE CONSENT FORM

Schools must sign the Consent Form and submit it for the entry to be valid. Unfortunately, we can’t accept digital copies of artwork at this time.

Consent Form

SUBMIT THE ARTWORK

In an envelope, post your students’ artwork to our freepost address. No need to add a stamp, simply write our address and take it to the nearest post box. Please do not fold the artwork. Multiple entries can be submitted in one envelope, each clearly labelled with the student’s name, age and school.

What are the guidelines?

  • Artwork should be completed on the A4 Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Art Competition Canvas in portrait orientation
  • Artwork can be produced in pencil, paint, or ink.
  • Unfortunately, photography, 3D models, and digital art will not be accepted for this competition. Using a 9-square grid on the canvas to understand scale will be useful.
  • Please note, backgrounds will not be included, but can be added to the canvas for creativity.
  • Each entry must have the student’s name, age, and school name clearly written on the Art Competition Canvas, and must be accompanied by a Consent Form.
  • Only one entry per child.
