    Duration is 45 minutes. Please arrive at the rink 20 minutes before your ice skating session.

    3+. Anyone aged 3 - 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+.

About Ice skating

Glide into the festive season on the UK’s largest open-air ice rink, set under a picturesque canopy of twinkly lights and built around Hyde Park’s iconic Victoria bandstand.

Handy Tips

  • Please arrive at this attraction 20 minutes before your session start time.
  • The Ice Rink operates in all conditions – please bring suitable clothing and it is a good idea to bring a change of socks on wet days!
  • Ice Skating is not recommended for those aged 3 and under. All access to the rink is at the discretion of the Ice Rink management team.
  • BYOS: You can bring your own skates with you (subject to a suitability check and please also note that speed skates are not allowed).
  • Skates are included in the ticket price and available in minimum children’s size 8, maximum adult’s size 13 (Limited supply of skate size 14/15 available).
  • Penguins may only be used for children under 1m tall when wearing skates
  • Wheelchairs are allowed on the ice and there are ramps both in and out of the skate facility and on and off the rink. Electric wheelchairs are permitted on the ice provided that the motors are off.
  • All bags and large items are required to be checked in to the cloakroom provided at £2 per item.
  • For safety reasons, cameras and mobile phones are not allowed whilst on the ice. We have a professional photographer who can take a souvenir photo for you.
  • Please note, all children aged 3-12 and under must be accompanied by a participating/skating adult aged 18 and over at all times during this attraction. Ice Skating is not recommended for those aged 3 and under. All access to the rink is at the discretion of the Ice Rink management team.
