JOIN US FOR AN ACCESSIBLE MORNING AT WINTER WONDERLAND
We’re pleased to be bringing back Winter Wishes, our accessible morning, where groups that may otherwise have a difficult time attending the event can have a magical day out. Taking place on Wednesday 27th November, Winter Wonderland will once again close its doors to the public from 10am to 2pm and will offer free entry and unrestricted access to over 100 rides and attractions.
There will be the opportunity for guests to experience Winter Wonderland without any large crowds, and we will be operating at a significantly reduced capacity, ensuring it is accessible not just for those with additional financial constraints but also those with physical and sensory sensitivities. The event will feature enhanced accessibility measures including reduced lighting and sound levels, low-sensory skating on the open-air Ice Rink, audio guides in the Magical Ice Kingdom, and an increased number of accessible facilities.
Guests can benefit from a free 1pm performance of Zippos Christmas Circus, which will have an expanded seating area for wheelchair users, as well as the chance to meet Father Christmas in Santa’s Grotto and enjoy surprise entertainment throughout the day. A dedicated customer service team will be on hand to assist throughout the event, with trained access champions available to any Winter Wishes guests that may need additional support.
Applications for this year’s Winter Wishes have now closed and all successful applicants have been contacted. If you would like to join the ballot for next year’s event, please keep an eye on our website next summer for our Winter Wishes application form.
